Maps Coordinates Exercise

1. In this set of corrdinates, 33.9 N, 116 W is in the Joshua Tree National Park. The coordinates are in teh mountain region of California. There are different mountains around in and deserts. There seems to be no residencial areas around this area.

2. The climate seems to be pretty hot. There are deserts around the cordinate and the area is not as green as the other areas in California.

3. This location is .15 N from the first set of coordinates. This location is closer to the coast.

4. This location seems to be in a flatter spot of California. Deserts are surrounding this area along with mountains. It is closer to Route 10, and it is located between two golf courses. There are residential areas near this lacation also.

5. Humans have taken techcnology adn made an enviroment for living in a desert area and now are able to do activities like golfing. They have also made canals for water to run through the developement.

6. This lacation is on the southern end of California. Because it is somewhat near a lake, the developement by this cordinate is able to do activities like golf.

Introduction

My name is Khristina Kanagy. I am a senior and I plan on going to a four year college. I moved here my freshman year of high school from Mount Vernon, Ohio. I run cross country and I play lacrosse. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, playing sports, and hanging out with friends. I am involved in young life and my youth group at church. I would like to play lacrosse in college. This summer I want to be able to go to Africa on a mission trip and visit the little girl my family is supporting.
